For his performance at the University of Chicago's Phoenix Fall Classic on Saturday and Sunday, Lake Forest swimming and diving senior Max Rowland was named men's Forester Athlete of the Week.
Rowland swam to a thirteenth place finish in the 500-freestyle with a time of 4:44.39, which tops the conference rankings. His second event of the weekend was the 400-individual medley. His time of 4:08.13 was good enough to place fifth and is also the fastest time in the conference this season.
Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
