Sophomore swimmer Alec Pittman was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday for his performances during the team's home meet against St. Norbert College.
Pittman won all three of his events during the meet. He placed first in both of his individual events, the 200 IM and the 400 Freestyle. His split in the winning 200 Freestyle Relay was the fastest of all the Foresters', and the relay out-touched the Green Knights' by only .13 seconds.
The meet was a close one with a few of the races being decided by only tenths of a second. Pittman's contributions to the final score was impactful to the team's win.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
