Foresters Triumph in Final Dual Meet of Season

The Foresters honored their graduating seniors in victorious fashion as they defeated St. Norbert College in the last meet of the season.

The 200 Medley Relay set the tone on the women's side of the meet. The combination of Fallon Longfield, Vanessa Ordaz, Susan Guo, and Kerry Mullen won in a decisive manner, and that trend continued for the rest of the meet with Foresters taking first in nearly every event. Among the notable wins was Violet Anderson's 200 Free and 100 Free, Rachel Trevillian's 200 IM, and Susan Guo's 100 Fly.

Lizzie Johns won the diving competition on the 3-meter, and Victoria Miller won on the 3-meter.

The men's meet was a very close competition with quite a few of the Foresters' and Green Knights' races being decided by less than a half a second. Aaron Helms started the Foresters off with a win in the 800 Free. Alec Pittman, Evan Weller, and Jackson Sawyer combined to go 1-2-3 in the 200 IM. Pittman and Helms went on to go 1-2 in the 400 Free. Marcus Carter-Buckman touched the wall first in the 100 Back. The 200 Free relay of Carter-Buckman, Max Rowland, Pittman, and Justin Fugiel were able to race to first place, out-touching St. Norbert's relay by just thirteen tenths of a second.

Naqi Rizvi won on both boards in the diving portion of the competition.

The Forester women won the meet 130-78, and the men won 132-95.

The next meet for the Foresters will be the Midwest Conference Championship, which will take place in Grinnell, IA beginning on February 14.
