Foresters Earn Scholar All-America Status as a Team

The Lake Forest College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were among the 710 squads around the country designated as Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher in the spring semester. The teams represent 476 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions with Lake Forest among the 234 schools to both their men's and women's teams earn the status.

The Forester women combined for a 3.32 GPA in the spring and earned the award for the 13th time in the last 14 semesters.

Lake Forest's men's team compiled a 3.19 GPA during the second semester to claim Scholar All-America status for the fifth semester in a row.

Both teams are coached by Vadim Tashlitsky '00.
