Lake Forest College diver Heath Ogawa repeated as Midwest Conference Performer of the Week and CollegeSwimming.com named Foresters Lily McCarthy and Max Rowland MWC Swimmers of the Week on Tuesday.

Ogawa, a junior, won both diving events as the Foresters defeated Lawrence University and fell to host University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Saturday in a double-dual format. He amassed 332.96 points off the three-meter board and breaking his own program record with a score of 330.37 in the one-meter competition. Ogawa has finished in first place each of the 13 times he has competed so far this season.

McCarthy, a senior, swept the distance events in dominating fashion at Whitewater. She completed the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:06.42 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:23.59. Her margin of victory in the two events combined was more than 30 seconds.

Rowland, a freshman, was the runner-up in the men's 1000-freestyle in 10:25.22 before finishing first in the 500-freestyle in 5:01.57. He also posted a split of 52.30 seconds on the third leg of Lake Forest's third-place 400-freestyle relay team.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's director of media and information. It was Ogawa's second consecutive weekly honor, third this season, and seventh of his career.

CollegeSwimming.com's selections are independent of those made by each conference. Winners are selected from results submitted by midnight EST each Monday. McCarthy also earned the honor last week and once during the 2016-17 season. Rowland also made the conference swimmers of the week list on December 5.
