Sophomore Matt Demirs and freshmen Rachael Purgerson and Heath Ogawa took on NCAA Division I and III competition at the UIC Diving Invitational on Saturday.
Ogawa placed third out of 13 divers in the men's 1-meter competition with a score of 295.45 pooints. Demirs finished 11th with 203.25 points.
The men's 3-meter competition also included 13 divers and Ogawa was fourth with 279.95 points. Demirs' 199.50 points were good for eighth place.
Purgerson placed 13th in the 20-diver field in the women's 1-meter event with 194.60 points.
It was the final meet for the Forester divers before the Midwest Conference Championships at Grinnell College February 19-21.
