Lake Forest College's Heath Ogawa was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday after winning both diving events in his collegiate debut against Carthage College on Friday.

Ogawa, a freshman, came within 9.5 points of a 35-year-old team record in 1-meter diving with his score of 261.50. He won the event by nearly 39 points and his 268.90 points in the 3-meter competition were more than 98 points better than the runner-up from Carthage.

Ogawa now ranks third in program history in both events behind Forester Athletic Hall of Famer Guy Stehley '80 and Matt Perry '13.
