Saturday was the final day of the 2015 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships and Forester freshman Victoria Karker placed 25th in the prelims of the 200-backstroke.

Karker's time of 2:04.85 was more than 10 seconds faster than her previous season-best and ranks second in program history. It was her best finish at the NCAA Championships after placing 34th in the prelims of the 500-freestyle on Wednesday and 33rd in the 200-IM prelims on Thursday.

Karker was one of the three Foresters competing this week. Senior Christina Pekar placed seventh in Wednesday's 3-meter diving competition and eight off the 1-meter board on Friday. Sophomore Sam Freedberg finished 20th in the 200-IM prelims on Wednesday, 15th in the finals of the 400-IM on Thursday, and 20th again in the 200-butterfly prelims on Friday.

Lake Forest finished 30th in the women's team standings with 23 points and tied-for-52nd on the men's side with two points. It was the first time both Forester teams earned points at the national meet since 1998.
