Prospect Camp

Lake Forest College Softball will be hosting an Elite Skills/Prospect Camp on Sunday, January 15. Coaching staff, players, and guest coaches will facilitate all aspects of the day. Click the online registration link at the top of the page for more information. Space is limited to 60 participants.

This camp is a great opportunity for current 14U-18U athletes to experience the demands of college softball in a positive and instructive environment. The day includes softball drills and instruction designed to replicate the daily training environment of our current softball student-athletes, along with competitive live at bats.

Camp participants will meet members of the current team and staff as they assist with the clinic and share their recruiting and collegiate softball experiences. An optional campus tour will be available at the end of camp.

9:15 a.m.	Skill Session I: Warm-Up, Overhand Throwing
10:00 a.m.	Skill Session II: Primary Position Defense/Pitching/Catching
11:00 a.m.	Skill Session III: Secondary Position Defense/Pitching/Catching
12:00 p.m.	Lunch
12:30 p.m.	Student-Athlete and Coaches Panel
1:00 p.m.	Skill Session IV: Offense and Baserunning / Live Game
2:30 p.m.	Skill Session V: Offense and Baserunning / Live Game
4:00 p.m.	Closing Remarks/Q&A with coaches and players
4:15 p.m.	Optional Campus Tour

EQUIPMENT

Please bring glove, helmet, bat, (catchers gear if applicable) and turf/gym shoes for indoor turf and court surfaces. You are encouraged to wear your travel team uniform/jersey.
