The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its NCAA Division III All-Region Teams on Friday and the list included Lake Forest College's Elena Chrisman.
Chrisman was a Second Team All-Region IX selection after hitting .355 with five home runs and a team-high 35 runs batted in. The senior scored 25 runs and had 10 doubles and a pair of triples among her 43 base hits. She also stole six bases, slugged .595, and posted a .404 on-base percentage on the season.
An excellent defender as well, the Foresters' right fielder made just one error and had six outfield assists this spring.
A .334 hitter during her collegiate career, Chrisman scored 80 runs, drove in 65, and belted 11 home runs, six triples, and 25 doubles over the last four years. She also had 21 stolen bases and 13 outfield assists.
Chrisman is the 30th Forester since 2022 to earn NFCA All-Region honors.
