Lake Forest College softball player Hailey Boylan was named Midwest Conference Position Performer of the Week on Monday after helping lead the Foresters to a pair of victories over Concordia University Chicago last Thursday.
Boylan singled in the team's first run of the season to tie game one in the bottom of the fourth inning. The senior catcher also scored in the inning and homered later in the Foresters' 5-3 triumph.
Lake Forest prevailed 5-4 in game two and Boylan, the designated player in the contest, singled and scored a pair of runs. She finished the doubleheader 3-for-6 with a home run, four runs scored, two driven in, and a stolen base.
