The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2017-18 NFCA Academic Teams and All-America Scholar Athletes on Wednesday and Lake Forest College was well-represented.
The combined grade point average of Forester players during the 2017-18 academic year was 3.436, which ranked 45th out of all NCAA Division III teams.
In addition, 13 of Lake Forest's 20 players were among those earning NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors, which requires a 3.5 GPA for the year. They were...
