Riley Frisbie Named Forester Athlete of the Week

Lake Forest College softball player Riley Frisbie was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday for her performance in the team's final six games in Florida last week.

Frisbie, a sophomore first baseman, batted .545 in the six games combined with four multi-hit performances. She also had a home run, two doubles, six runs scored, and six driven in as the Foresters went 3-3.

Lake Forest defeated the University of Wisconsin-River Falls 18-4 on Friday and Frisbie established new single-game career-highs with four base hits, eight total bases, and three runs scored. She also drove in four runs, including three on a go-ahead home run in the second inning.

Frisbie now leads the Foresters with a .452 batting average and .667 slugging percentage so far this season. She is also tied for the team lead with nine runs batted in.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
