Leiderman, Werner, and Borgra Named All-MWC South

Leiderman, a sophomore outfielder, led the conference with eight home runs and 15 stolen bases. She also ranked fourth in the league with 29 runs scored and 72 total bases and sixth with a .626 slugging percentage. Leiderman batted .339 and tied for the team lead with 23 runs batted in this season. It was her second straight All-MWC South selection and she is the 11th Forester to claim at least a share of the division's Player of the Year Award.

Werner, a freshman right-handed pitcher, tied for fourth in the league with nine victories and ranked fifth with 90 strikeouts. Her earned run average on the year was 2.81 and opponents batted just .271 against her. She went 7-1 with a 1.72 ERA during MWC play. It marked Lake Forest's fifth MWC Pitcher or Co-Pitcher of the Year honor since the award began in 2005.

Borgra, a sophomore outfielder, finished sixth in the conference with a .417 batting average, fifth with a .477 on-base percentage, and sixth with 40 base hits. She led the Foresters in all three categories and tied for the team lead with eight doubles.
