Samantha Kintzel

Samantha Kintzel is in her second year as a member of the Forester men's tennis coaching staff. She is also an assistant coach with the women's tennis program.

Lake Forest posted a 13-13 overall record and finished in second place in the Midwest Conference North Division standings with a league mark of 3-1 in Kintzel's first season on staff. A pair of Foresters reached the finals at their respective positions in the lineup at the 2014 MWC Championships. In addition, four players on the team earned Academic All-MWC honors.

Kintzel also helped lead the Lake Forest women to a perfect 5-0 MWC South Division record and a runner-up finish at the conference tournament in 2013-14. Individual Foresters captured three league titles and the team finished 17-5 overall during the season. Five Foresters were named Academic All-MWC.

Kintzel graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2010 after four years as a scholarship player. She posted a 142-82 record in her career and ranks sixth in program history in victories. She is also eighth in team annals in career doubles wins and 11th in singles triumphs. Kintzel served as a team captain as a senior and earned Mid-American Conference Player of the Week honors during her freshman year.

Kintzel has also been an instructor for four years at the Libertyville High School Tennis Camp and for two years at the Carmel High School Tennis Camp.
