Vushyvanyuk Still 25th in ITA Central Region Singles Rankings

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its latest NCAA Division III rankings on Monday and Lake Forest College's Oleksyi Vyshyvanyuk was once again listed 25th in the Central Region in singles.

Vyshyvanyuk is 11-4 in singles this spring and has won seven of his last eight matches atop the Foresters' lineup. Among the senior's victories is a 6-3, 6-3 triumph against Case Western Reserve University, the top-ranked team in the nation, while his only loss came in a tiebreaker against the region's 18th-ranked player.

With a record of 52-11 over the last four years, Vyshyvanyuk ranks tied-for-eighth in program history in career singles wins. He also ranks second in team annals with 49 victories at #1 singles, just two shy of the school record. Vyshyvanyuk is also 49-19 in doubles and, on Saturday, became just the 10th Forester to surpass 100 career victories in singles and doubles combined.
