Foresters Doubled Up by Shenandoah on Spring Break

The Lake Forest College men's tennis team was defeated 6-3 by Shenandoah University in Hilton Head, South Carolina on Thursday.

All three of the Foresters' points came from the bottom of the lineup. Junior Eduardo Manuitt and sophomore Kyle Lassen defeated Shenandoah's #3 doubles team 8-4 but Lake Forest trailed 2-1 going into singles play.

The Hornets also earned points at the top four spots in the singles lineup before Lake Forest senior Jacob Tilton closed out a convincing 6-1, 6-0 win at #5. Forester freshman Ryan Lowe then finished off the match by taking both sets 6-2 at #6.

The loss dropped Lake Forest to 2-1 on the trip and 4-3 this season while Shenandoah evened its overall record at 3-3.

The Foresters' final Spring Break opponent will be Asbury College and the match is scheduled for Friday morning at 8:30 (ET).
