Forester Men Earn Academic Honors from ITA

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2021-22 Division III All-Academic Teams and Scholar Athletes on Wednesday and the lists included the Forester men's team and four of its members.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale). Lake Forest last earned the award in 2018.

Individuals must record a grade point average of at least 3.5 for an entire academic year to earn ITA Scholar Athlete accolades. Forester freshman Kyle Lassen, Anele Mayiga, Alec Nissen, and Daniel Tulchinskiy made the list, giving the program 17 honorees in the last 10 years.

In 2022, 940 Division III men were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 125 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
