Sophomore Eduardo Maunitt played an impressive 10 matches during the men's tennis team's spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. For this performance, Manuitt was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
In the single matches he played, Manuitt was 3-2 for the week. Among the three wins he earned, he helped his team pull ahead of and ultimately triumph 5-4 against Gettysburg College when he won 6-3, 2-6, (10-2) at #5.
Manuitt and doubles partner Jacob Tilton went 4-1 on the week, including a pivotal 8-3 victory at #3 against Wabash College.
Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
