Foresters Fall to Morningside in Spring Break Finale

The Lake Forest College men's tennis team was defeated 6-1 by Morningside University on Friday in a match that ended early because of rain.

The Foresters' only point of the match came from junior Jacob Tilton and sophomore Eduardo Manuitt at #3 doubles. They prevailed 8-3 and have now won four consecutive matches.

Lake Forest junior Oleksyi Vyshyvanyuk was ahead 4-2 in the opening set of his match at #1 singles and freshman Daniel Tulchinskiy led 2-1 early on at #2 when the match was rain ended the contest.

Lake Forest fell to 5-5 on the season while Morningside improved to 6-2.

The Foresters will be back inside at the Raquet Club of Lake Bluff for next Saturday's Senior Day/Parents Day match against visiting Judson University. The contest is set to start at 5:30 p.m.
