The Lake Forest College men's tennis team was doubled up 6-3 by the University of St. Francis on Sunday. The match was played nearby at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff.

The Foresters started the contest by taking two of the three doubles matches. Junior Jacob Tilton and sophomore Eduardo Manuitt won 8-3 at #3 and were the first to finish. After the Saints earned the point at #2, junior Oleksyi Vyshyvanyuk and freshman Daniel Tulchinskiy finished off an 8-6 triumph at #1.

Vyshyvanyuk added a convincing 6-3, 6-1 victory at the top of the singles lineup to make the team score 3-1 but the home team was unable to win at any of the other five positions, despite two of them going to a third set super tiebreaker.

The loss evened the Foresters' record on the season at 2-2 while St. Francis improved to 2-5.

Lake Forest's next five matches will be played during the team's spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina, March 7-11.
