Foresters Fall at Prairie State

Foresters Fall at Prairie State

After a successful end to its Spring Break trip to South Carolina, the Lake Forest College men's tennis team was defeated 8-1 at Prairie State College on Saturday.

Freshman Carson Chen was the only player to score for the Foresters against the Pioneers at the Homewood-Flossmoor Racquet and Fitness Club in Chicago. Chen finished his match at #6 singles in straight sets, taking each of them 6-4.

Since Prairie State is a two-year college, the result will not count on Lake Forest's record for the season, nor will the individual results affect player stats.

The team will play its first two Midwest Conference matches of the season at home next Saturday. The Foresters will host Cornell College at 10:00 in the morning and Knox College at 3:00 p.m. Please join this Forester Fanatics event and come out and support the team.
