Senior Ellis Lora-Arceo won in both doubles and singles play as the Lake Forest College men's tennis team posted a 6-3 victory at St. Norbert College on Saturday.

Lora-Arceo and sophomore Trevor Allen gave the Foresters the early lead with an 8-6 triumph at #1 doubles. Lake Forest junior Nick Rehm and sophomore Joe Bove then edged out their opponents 9-8 (7-4) at #3. The Green Knights earned the point at #2 to make the score 2-1 in favor of the visitors going into singles play.

Lake Forest came out on top of each of the first four singles matches to finish. Freshman Nick Zazove started the run with a 6-0, 6-1 win at #2 and Allen prevailed 6-4, 6-1 at the top spot in the lineup. Lora-Arceo's 6-2, 6-1 victory at #3 clinched the match for the Foresters and senior Dragan Trivanovic added a 6-2, 6-4 win at #4.

Lake Forest is now 11-10 overall this season and 4-2 in Midwest Conference play. St. Norbert fell to 8-8 overall and finished the league portion of the schedule at 3-5.

The Foresters will close out the regular season with a pair of road matches on Sunday. After taking on Lawrence University at noon, the team will travel to Ripon College for a 4:00 p.m. contest. A victory in either match, or a Monmouth loss to Grinnell College Sunday morning, would clinch a spot for Lake Forest in next Friday's four-team MWC Tournament.
