Trivanovic recorded a 6-2, 6-0 triumph at #6 and Snider closed out the contest with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at #3.

The loss dropped Cornell's overall record to 5-9 and it was also the first conference match of the year for the Rams.

The Pioneers won at the bottom three positions in the lineup to clinch the team win but Snider took his match at #3 by winning the third set tiebreaker 10-8. Pivonka then completed a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at #1 over the Central Region's 19th-ranked player and raised his singles record in the last 12 matches to 9-3.
