Foresters Blank Dominican University 9-0

The Lake Forest College men's tennis team won 9-0 in a non-conference match at Dominican University on Sunday. Forester senior Kevin Lasky outscored his opponents 20-2 in his doubles and singles matches combined.

Lasky and junior Jerry Wang won 8-1 at #3 doubles to start their day. Senior John Adams and freshman Mike Riley edged out Dominican's top doubles tandem 9-7 while sophomore Anthony Mykhaylovskyy and freshman John Snider blanked their opponents 8-0 at #2.

Lasky was the first to finish in singles after posting a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #4. Mykhaylovskyy won 6-2 in both sets at #3 and Adams prevailed 6-1, 6-3 for his fifth consecutive win at #1. Wang and Snider each recorded 6-0, 6-1 victories at #5 and #6, respectively, and Riley finished off the match with a 6-0, 6-3 triumph at #2.

The Foresters raised their overall record on the season to 8-7 while the Stars fell to 1-4.

Lake Forest will host Illinois College Friday at 4:00 p.m.
