Lake Forest College tennis player Chris
Paterakos (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) was named Midwest
Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (April 20) for his
performance in a perfect 6-0 week for the Foresters.
Paterakos, a junior, teamed with senior Joe Campagna
to defeat the #2 doubles teams of all six opponents on the week.
They posted victories over Aurora University on Tuesday, Milwaukee
School of Engineering on Thursday, Monmouth College and Carroll
University on Saturday, and Elmhurst College and St. Norbert
College on Sunday by a combined score of 48-10.
While he usually competes at #5 singles, Paterakos moved up to #4
in all but one of his singles matches on the week and still posted
a 5-0 record and did not lose a set.
Paterakos is now 16-4 in singles and 20-4 in doubles this
season.
