The Forester men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by visiting Carleton College in non-conference action Monday afternoon.

The game was scoreless at halftime with both goalkeepers having made a pair of saves in the first 45 minutes.

The Knights got on the scoreboard less than four minutes into the second half and took advantage of a defensive miscue by the Forester to add an insurance goal 10 minutes later.

Lake Forest junior Giuseppe Scalera and freshman Ace Prasad split the game in goal with Scalera getting the start. They combined to make five saves in the contest.

The loss dropped the Foresters' overall record on the season to 4-11-1 while Carleton improved to 9-3-2.

Lake Forest will resume Midwest Conference play at Knox College Saturday afternoon at 1:00.
