Foresters Victorious Against Monmouth College

Lake Forest men's soccer were able to put three away in the second half of their game at Monmouth College on Saturday. The Foresters won the day 3-0.

After a quiet first 45 minutes with no scoring, senior Griffin Mitchell got the Foresters on the board with a goal in the 51st minute of play and started a small flurry of scoring as, just under 3 minutes later, fellow senior Bradley Van Egeren was able to put the ball passed the goalie. They were assisted by sophomore Elliot Hull and senior Connor Keast, respectively.

The third and final goal of the game came from the foot of freshman Eric Rodriguez off a pass from senior Frank Janicke Permanyer; it was Rodriguez's first career goal.

The Foresters are now 2-9-1 and 2-1 in Conference play. They will play again on Wednesday, October 6 at 4:30 p.m. against Beloit College on Mohr Field.
