Lake Forest Lose Hard Fought Match in Double Overtime

Despite their strong defense, the Lake Forest men's soccer team fell to Lawrence University in double overtime on Saturday.

After nearly 106 minutes of play, the Vikings were able to put the ball passed Forester goalkeeper Szymon Mocarski to end the game.

Both the Vikings and the Foresters played a physical game throughout regulation and overtime. They were evenly matched in shots with both teams ending the game with eight a piece.

The Foresters are now 0-9-1 on their season. The Vikings bring their record to 4-5. This game was the first in Conference play for both teams.

Lake Forest plays again on Wednesday, September 29 at 4:30 PM at Ripon College.
