Foresters Fight Hard Against Firebirds, Fall 1-0

The Foresters played against nationally ranked #16 Carthage College on Wednesday, September 22.

Forester goalkeeper Szymon Morcarski was able to make 11 saves on the game, which is a career high for him in a single game and puts him tied-for-sixth in the team's record books.

The Firebirds scored the only goal of the game at 26:23. They also outshot the Foresters 19-6 with 12 of those shots being on target.

The Foresters are now 0-8-1 for the season. Carthage College moved their record up to 6-1-1.

Lake Forest will play in front of their home crowd at Farwell Field on Saturday, September 25 at 1:30 PM against Lawrence University. This game will mark the start of Conference play for the Foresters.
