Foresters Shut Out at Home

Lake Forest men's soccer team was shut out at home by North Central College on Wednesday evening.

The Cardinals got on the board early, scoring in the third and eighth minutes of play. They put a third and final goal on their tally in the second half with less than three minutes remaining on the clock. Overall, they out-shot the Foresters 15-3.

Lake Forest goalkeeper Szymon Mocarski had seven saves in the game. Senior captain Griffin Mitchell led the team in shots and shots on goal.

It has been 18 years since the Foresters last defeated North Central on the pitch. 

The Foresters brought their season record to 0-5-1. North Central improved to 6-0-0.

Lake Forest will be back in action on Saturday, September 18 at 5:00 PM Eastern (4:00 PM Central) against Kalamazoo College.
