Foresters Unable to Secure Victory at Home

The Lake Forest College men's soccer team played against Dominican University on Sunday, September 12. It was the teams' second meeting in two days and the Stars came away victorious both times, outscoring the Foresters 7-2 across the two matches.

Dominican out-shot Lake Forest 16-3. The two Forester goalies who saw playing time today, freshman Ace Prasad and junior Giuseppe Scalera, made 10 saves combined.

The lone Forester goal came in the 79th minute of play off a free kick awarded to the Foresters. Senior Griffin Mitchell tapped the ball just a few yards to the side, giving sophomore Muhamed Prijic an angle to blast his shot past the wall and the goalkeeper. Prijic also led the team in shots and shots on goal.

The Foresters will compete again on Wednesday, September 15, against North Central. They are now 0-5-1 for the season.
