Long Stretch of Road Games Ends in Another Loss for Foresters

Despite tying up the score early in the second half, the Lake Forest men's soccer team couldn't fight their way to victory against Dominican University on Saturday.

The lone Forester goal of the game came within the first five minutes of play in the second half. After a lengthy Dominican possession, the Foresters were able to regain control of the ball and made quick work of securing a goal. Senior Griffin Mitchell took it down the right side of the field nearly to the box. With a precise pass, he got the ball to sophomore Elliot Hull, who found the back of the net, tying the score 1-1. It was Hull's first career goal.

The Stars had a goal in the first half and retook the lead after a mere 31 seconds after the Forester goal. They insured their win with an additional two goals in the second half.

Lake Forest is now 0-4-1; they will play Dominican again on Sunday, September 12 at 3:00 PM.
