Foresters Downed by Colorado College

Despite the Foresters holding the Tigers scoreless in the first half, the Lake Forest men's soccer team couldn't secure a win against Colorado College on Sunday.

In a scoreless first half, Colorado College out-shot the Lake Forest 9-2, and sophomore goalkeeper Szymon Mocarski made three saves.

The Tigers were able to find the net first, getting the first goal of the game in the 56th minute.

The Foresters answered three minutes and 48-seconds later when sophomoreMuhamed Prijic took a shot that was blocked by the Colorado goalkeeper and was put right at the foot junior Philip Szutkiewicz, who found the back of the net. It was Szutkiewicz's first career goal.

Despite five more saves by Mocarski in the second half, the Tigers were able to get another goal in in the 74th minute of play, and that was ultimately the game winner.

The Foresters are now 0-3 for the season. They will take to the pitch again Wednesday, September 8 at Elmhurst College.
