The United Soccer Coaches released its 2019 All-Region Teams on Monday and Lake Forest College's Gaston Aubert was a Second Team All-North Region honoree.
Aubert led the team and Midwest Conference with 15 assists and 37 points and ranks among the national leaders in both categories. The senior forward recorded at least one point in 15 of 19 games and either scored or assisted on 26 of the Foresters' 38 goals this year.
Aubert was named First Team All-MWC in 2019 after earning Second Team honors in 2016 and 2017 and missing nearly all of the 2018 season due to injury.
After scoring 11 times this fall, Aubert finished his career ranked seventh in team history with 30 goals, tied-for-sixth with 24 assists, and ninth with 84 points.
The Foresters were 10-8-1 overall in 2019 and tied for first place in the MWC standings with an 8-1-0 record in league play.
Lake Forest has now had at least one all-region selection five years in a row and in eight of the last nine seasons.
