Lake Forest suffered its third one-goal loss in five days Wednesday night, a 2-1 decision at Aurora University.

The Spartans took the lead at the 14:05 mark and maintained the advantage into the second half.

Forester senior Gaston Aubert's team-high fifth goal of the year at 59:41 tied the game but the home team pulled back ahead for good with 14:47 to play in the contest.

Lake Forest attempted 10 shots in each half and had a 20-13 edge in that category by the end of the game. The Foresters also had twice as many corner kicks (6-3) and forced the Aurora goalkeeper to make twice as many saves (also 6-3) to earn the victory.

The loss dropped the Foresters' record on the season to 2-3-1 while Aurora improved to 2-4-0.

Lake Forest will host North Central College Saturday afternoon at 2:00.
