Lake Forest College men's soccer player Gaston Aubert was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after helping lead his team to a pair of victories over the weekend.
Aubert assisted junior Lucas Geib on both of the goals in the Foresters' 2-0 triumph over Illinois Wesleyan University at home on Saturday. Both scores occurred early in the second half.
The Foresters also prevailed 3-0 at Concordia University Chicago on Sunday and Aubert contributed to all three tallies. He scored the official game-winner at the 26:46 mark, earned an assist on sophomore Connor Keast's first career goal at 63:51, and netted his second goal of the game with 10 minutes remaining.
Aubert leads Lake Forest with four goals and three assists in just three games this year.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
