Senior Lucas Geib scored a pair of second half goals and Lake Forest defeated visiting Illinois Wesleyan University 2-0 on Saturday.

Geib took a long pass from sophomore Connor Keast and worked a give-and-go with senior Gaston Aubert up the left side of the field before blasting a shot past the Titan goalkeeper for the first score of the game just four minutes into the second half.

Aubert and Geib combined for the game's other goal less than three minutes later with Geib's shot sailing over the goalie before he could get his hands up to stop it.

Forester junior Ian Roessler made five saves and defended 10 corner kick opportunities in his first career shutout.

Lake Forest improved to 1-0-1 on the season while Illinois Wesleyan fell to 2-2-0.

The Foresters ill be in action again Sunday afternoon at Concordia University Chicago. The contest is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
