The Lake Forest College men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Wheaton College Wednesday night.
Wheaton netted the only goal of the night with just 3:43 remaining in the second half.
The Thunder outshot the Foresters 14-1 in the opening period and 10-4 during the final 45 minutes. Just four of the home team's 24 shots, however, were on target with Lake Forest sophomore goalkeeper Jan Roessler making three saves.
The loss dropped Lake Forest's record on the season to 4-3-1 while Wheaton improved to 5-1-1.
The Foresters will being Midwest Conference play against Ripon College at home on Sunday. The contest will begin at 1:00 p.m.
