Junior Lucas Geib scored again and the Lake Forest College men's soccer team tied Olivet College 1-1 Friday night at Wisconsin Lutheran College's Warrior Cup.

Geib's goal tied the score at one just 46 seconds after Olivet had taken the lead. He took a cross from the left side of the field by senior Jakub Opiola and deflected the ball past the Comet goalkeeper and into the net at 70:45. It was Geib's sixth goal already this season.

The Foresters out-shot Olivet 15-2 in a scoreless first half and 9-8 in the second. The Comets accounted for the only two shot attempts in the first overtime period and Lake Forest got off four shots without allowing any in the contest's final 10 minutes.

Forester sophomore goalkeeper Jan Roessler made a pair of saves on the night, including one in the first overtime, and is now 1-1-1 on the year.

Lake Forest's 2018 record now stands at 3-2-1 and Olivet is 2-4-1.

The Warrior Cup will continue over the weekend with Wisconsin Lutheran taking on Olivet at 3:30 Saturday afternoon and the Foresters at the same time on Sunday.
