Senior Elyas Ingram scored his first two goals of the season, including one in the 105th minute, in the Forester men's soccer team's 5-4 double-overtime victory at Grinnell College on Sunday.

Ingram's game-winner waas set up by senior John Cappuccitti, who lofted a long pass over the defense but not far enough for the Pioneer goalkeeper to come out and play it. Ingram easily won the race to the ball, took it toward the goal, and beat the goalie to end the game.

Ingram also scored the visitors first goal of the contest at 36:52 but it came after three scores from the home team. His first score since early in the 2015 season was assisted by sophomore Lucas Geib. Forester senior Seton Trostle, who netted a pair of scores at Cornell College on Saturday, connected for his team-high fifth goal of the year with two-and-a-half minutes remaining in the half to make the score 3-2.

The Foresters tied the score at the 72:54 mark when senior Osvaldo Lara Soria's shot caromed off a Grinnell defender and into the corner of the goal. It was the first goal of the year for Lara Soria. The visitors' fourth unanswered goal was scored by Geib off a pass from junior Gaston Aubert 10 minutes later.

The Lake Forest lead was short-lived, however, as it took the home team just 74 seconds to respond with the score that forced overtime.

The Foresters out-shot the home team 5-2 in the extra periods and 28-20 in the contest. The teams combined for 26 shots on goal, including 15 by the visitors, and Lake Forest junior goalkeeper Tero Elias made seven saves to earn the victory and improve to 3-1-1 on the season.

After coming back to win after trailing 2-0 at Cornell on Saturday and a 3-0 against the Pioneers on Sunday, the Foresters are 5-3-1 overall this season and 2-0-0 in the midwest Conference. Grinnell fell to 3-6-1 overall and 1-1-0 in the league.

Lake Forest will host Wheaton College on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
