Junior forward Gaston Aubert's goal in the 19th minute was the only score of the game as the Forester men's soccer team prevailed 1-0 at Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday.
Aubert took a cross from freshman forward Sid Babu and placed it into the bottom right corner of the goal at the 18:27 mark. It was the first score of the season for Aubert and the first career point for Babu.
The Foresters were out-shot 17-13 on the afternoon and the goal was their only shot on target.
Junior goalkeeper Tero Elias made two saves in the first half and four in the second to earn his first shutout this season and the second of his Lake Forest career.
The victory evened the Foresters' record on the season at 2-2-0 while Concordia Wisconsin fell to 1-1-2.
Lake Forest will host Carthage College on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
