Lake Forest College men's soccer player Seton Trostle was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday for his performance in the Foresters conference championship-clinching 9-0 victory over visiting Ripon College on Sunday.

Trostle, a junior forward who entered the game with three goals on the season, matched that total in the first half. He started the scoring at the 3:24 mark and added scores at 36:43 and 44:34 to give the home team a 3-0 lead at intermission.

It was the first career hat trick for Trostle, who now has 11 scores in his three seasons at the College.

The victory in the team's regular season finale improved the Foresters' overall record to 11-7-0 and they finished atop the MWC standings with a league mark of 8-1-0. Lake Forest will host the four-team MWC Tournament this weekend and take on Grinnell College in Friday's 11:00 a.m. semifinal.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's director of media and information.
