Junior George Moushi scored for the second time this season but the Forester men's soccer team was unable to complete the comeback and fell 2-1 at Dominican University on Tuesday.

Moushi took a long pass from junior Elyas Ingram to the right side of the box, turned, and blasted the ball past the Stars' goalkeeper with 22:07 to play in the contest.

Dominican scored the first goal of the afternoon just 17 minutes into the game and the margin doubled on an own-goal by the Foresters just 33 seconds before Moushi's score.

Lake Forest out-shot the home team 11-7 in the first half and both teams attempted seven shots in the final 45 minutes.

Sophomore goalkeeper Tero Elias made five saves, all in the second half, for the visitors.

The Foresters are now 8-7-0 on the season while the Stars improved to 11-2-2.

Lake Forest will resume Midwest Conference play at home on Sunday with the team hosts Illinois College at 11:00 a.m.
