The Lake Forest College men's soccer team surrendered three goals but scored five in a victory at Fontbonne University on Sunday. Sophomore defender Elyas Ingram assisted on two of the goals and has a team-high four helpers on the year.

Ingram set up sophomore Seton Trostle's first goal of the season at the 24:54 mark and sophomore forward John Cappuccitti converted his third penalty kick opportunity of the year at 42:50, giving the visitors a 2-0 lead at halftime. Lake Forest out-shot the Griffins 11-6 in the period.

Both teams attempted seven shots, including six that ended up in the net, during the final 45 minutes.

Fontbonne got on the scoreboard just 14 seconds into the period but senior forward Dylan Hartman answered that score at the 51:40 mark. Ingram assisted on Hartman's third goal of the season. The Griffins scored on a penalty kick at 58:11 and tied the score at 77:10. Junior midfielder Ellis Rutili scored what proved to be the game-winning goal with 10:40 remaining and freshman forward Gaston Aubert added his first career goal at 82:30 with sophomore midfielder Finnian Bunta assisting on the play.

Freshman goalkeeper Elvin Husetovic made five saves to improve to 3-0-0 on the season.
