NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament Information

The Lake Forest College men's soccer team is set to host Luther College on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Championship Tournament. The game will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to play at Loras College in the second round on Sunday.

The game will be played at Farwell Field (Directions). Tickets can be purchased at the site for $6 (General Admission), $3 (Seniors/Students), or $2 (Children) and the gate will open at 11:30 a.m. Live Stats and a Live Video Webcast will also be available.

Lake Forest posted a 9-1-0 MWC record to claim the program's second straight league championship and the 16th conference title in team history. After their victories in the MWC Tournament, the Foresters are now 14-6-0 overall this season. All six of the team's losses have been by a single goal and Lake Forest has outscored its opponents 42-14 this year and 14-1 during the squad's current five-game winning streak.

The NCAA Tournament appearance is the third in program history but the first since 1980.

Luther is making its seventh trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Norse are also 14-6-0 on the year and claimed a share of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship with a 6-1-0 mark in league play.
