The Forester men's soccer team fell 1-0 to the University of
Wisconsin-Whitewater at home on Sunday (October 4). Lake Forest is
now 5-6-1 on the season while the Warhawks raised their record to
5-4-3.
The only goal of the game was scored less than eight minutes into
the contest.
Both teams attempted three shots in the first half and, with the
wind at its back, Whitewater out-shot the home team 7-1 in the
second. The teams combined for just three shots on goal and each
goalie had one save.
The Foresters will not play again until Tuesday night, October 13,
when they travel to North Central College for a 7:00 p.m. game.
