Mark DerManulian Earns All-American Accolades from AHCA

The American Hockey Coaches Association announced the Division II-III CCM Hockey/AHCA All-American Teams on Friday and Forester Mark DerManulian was a Second Team West selection.

DerManulian helped lead Lake Forest to the program's best record and first berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament since 1991. The Foresters were 18-6-3 overall and finished second in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association standings at 14-4-2 in league play.

With 26 points on four goals and 22 assists, DerManulian led the NCHA and ranked tied-for-seventh in the nation in points by a defenseman. He was also tied-for-fifth in the league and tied-for-27th in the country with the highest single-season assist total by a Lake Forest player since 2005-06.

The All-American honor comes a day after DerManulian was named Second Team All-USCHO and the junior was also one of his team's three All-NCHA honorees this season.

The CCM Hockey/AHCA All-American Hockey Teams are sponsored by CCM Hockey and chosen by members of the American Hockey Coaches Association. DerManulian is the third Forester named to an All-American team in the last six years, joining Jack Lewis (2017) and Leo Podolsky (2015).
