Cohen now has a team-high seven goals on the year, including four in the last three games.

Lake Forest accounted for the first five scores of the night, beginning with the second of the season by freshman forward Drew Shields at the 10:48 mark of the opening period. He was assisted by junior defenseman Mark DerManulian and forward Kyler Magus. Senior forward Tyler O'Neill set up Cote's second of the year and Magus assisted on Sardina's third.

Cote and DerManulian earned assists on Cohen's first tally at the midpoint of the period and his score with 58 seconds left was set up by Sardina and sophomore forward Cullen Kane.

The Vikings converted a power play opportunity at the 8:11 mark of the third to avoid the shutout.
