Lake Forest needed every one of junior Boyd DiClemente's 25 saves Friday night in a 1-0 triumph at St. Norbert College, the third-ranked team in the nation. It was the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association opener for both teams.

DiClemente stopped all eight shots on goal he faced in the opening period, nine in the second stanza, and eight more in the final 20 minutes. It was his first career shutout.

The Foresters finished the night with just 15 shots on goal but senior forward Austin Aksoy's attempt just 29 seconds into the second period was the only one the visitors needed. His second tally of the young season was assisted by sophomore forward Will Lebel and junior forward Aaron O'Neill.

Lake Forest is now 2-0-1 overall this season while St. Norbert fell to 1-2-0. The same two teams will face off again in De Pere, Wisconsin, Saturday afternoon at 4:00.
